Nice little hideout in the suburbs of Harare, decent sized rooms for the money nice and clean. Nothing to complain about really, if you looking for a homey guest house you should visit Simba harare. Staff is very helpful and polite with all my inquires, just ask Devine and he will sort you out with what ever you need 🤙

The rooms are tiny and uncomfortable. Old tube TV is literally under the bed. my skin is feeling itchy from the bed sheets. Staff not friendly and defensive. Breakfast is a joke. I voiced my concerns because I have been to much better places with better and bigger rooms closer to the CBD in harare at almost half what I paid here I regret coming here

Simba bed and breakfast is one of the most refreshing and heart_warming places I had ever been. The hospitality of the staff and the service is just overwhelming.I had a great experience there.I like the fact that it is in a peaceful place ,away from the capital city of Harare and I could do my business there because of great internet connection. It is a place to be for both leisure and business.Thumbs up team Simba Harare. We arrived after a long day travelling . The accommodation was not of an acceptable standard. We were offered an outside room which was cold . The bathroom was substandard with swollen floorboards and contained a grubby looking shower. As it was so late we felt that we had no choice but to stay as we we strangers to the city and it was now 10pm. The lady Owner Jane was pleasant and tried to be accommodating . However her husband approached me and took offence at the fact that the accommodation was not what we were expecting and asked us to leave !!! To ask three people two wowen and a child to leave at that time of night in Harare shows that he had no regard for our safety. I have never ever experienced such an attitude in all the travellling I have undertaken in Africa or indeed anywhere else in the world. This place is to be avoided at all costs .…

Well these guests did not want to pay the rate for the room and tried to bully their way through. If you go to the butcher and ask for a piece of meat, then its normal that you pay the price - you do refuse to pay the charge. Its so simple, had they paid we would have been happy to accomodate them, but they did not want to follow the rules - and thus we had to ask them to leave. Thank god we only have this type of guests once every second year. On top of this childish behaviour they present themselves as victims. Very happy riddence.

I and a group of friends stayed there for one night in August of this year. It's a convenient budget option for those looking for accommodation in Harare with a nice breakfast. Slight drawbacks would be that we only found out on arriving that there was a curfew (to be fair the building does double up as the family's house so not unreasonable), that the wifi doesn't extend to most of the rooms and that it is situated quite far out from the centre of Harare. But all in all it did what we needed it to do.

I have much enjoyed this relaxing and green outpost in the capital. The owners and the staff were always keen to help and have given me valuable advise on local and practical issues. The lodge is situated 5 min. walk from Westgate shoping mall and the main road leading to center town..

I arrived to this place by company´s mistake. For 35usd as advertised by Booking, you can not expect much and I agree. I was charged 50 usd, I was harassed to pay in advance and ASAP despite I told them my company did a mistake, I was running out of money and I was asking for help. For someone that it is new to Zimbabwe, with the current situation, I found my self helpless and scared. I dont know which staff was friendly because I found all of them very cold and distant. The room was far from 35usd or even 50usd, dirty, poor, and the bathroom...eish! the towel was sandpaper and I struggle for almost 10 min trying to get a shower, either burning or freezing and finally no pressure. If by "great breakfast" you understand 2 scrambled eggs, half a sausage, slice of bread and instant coffee, then you will be fine. Apparently some people had "great time" here, not me.…

Sorry Alejandro, You was charged on arrival and not before in order to give you the chance of checking our rooms and place and deciding not to move in if you did not like our place. Fair enough, we do not blame people at all that find another place - and indeed we write to all that we do not want to charge them before arrival so that they themselves can show the world that they are able to show sound judgement. Yours Simba Harare

Had a very enjoyable four-night stay at Simba Harare. The owners were extremely helpful, providing directions, drawing out maps, giving a ride to Avondale shopping center and even teaching me a few words of Shona. Breakfast was good too -- toast, sausages, eggs and coffee. It is near the Westgate shopping center, and an easy minibus ride into the city center.
