Recently stayed at the Tanzanite Hotel for a few days, staff were very freindly, service was excellent and the rooms, clean, neat and totally refreshing especially after a 10 hour drive and 9 hour flight. Lovely rooms, perfect for the one night lay over. Close to the port for ferry to Zanzibar so was perfect for us. Internet wasn't great in the room. Breakfast was average. They did provide us with complimentary car to the port which was great!
