We three had a nice stay. Working shower. Few to no mosquitos. Nothing fancy. But friendlier and cleaner than I had expected from coming into the area, and first glances at the hotel. Simple breakfast included. Low rates made our trip sustainable. We stayed in a very simple three bed triple. Ferry to Zanzibar 5-10 minute walk away.

A good priced clean budget hotel to put your head down. It is in a great location walking distance to the restaurants and the Royal bus station. It is basic, they have twin not doubles, but if all you are looking for is somewhere to sleep & shower & then this is a good spot.

We stayed here in an air conditioned room as an overnight stop before catching the ferry to zanzibar. It's close to the port (short taxi ride) and the price is very reasonable. Please do not stay here if you want everything to be perfect. At 35,000Tsh for a double room in central Dar (at least inside the Bibi Titi ring road) you are not getting luxury! The rooms are dirty, humid and smells badly. The service from the woman in the reception was terrible. The breakfast consist of nothing more than a sad piece of toast which come with the tiniest amount of butter and jam as possible. Don't go there!!!
