A gorgeous oasis in the middle of the Marakech madness. Great location, wonderfully clean and a fabulous sun terrace. Rooms on bottom floor a little bit damp smelling ( although I think this is a common riad problem and we had had alot of rain) but still lovely. . Really really helpful managers, they went the extra mile for us... More

I stayed at Riad Quenza for four nights as part of a hen weekend in Marrakech. Twelve of us booked the entire riad for the duration, and we had a perfect experience there. The riad itself is scrupulously clean and beatifully decorated throughout, with a rooftop terrace and hammam. The staff, Mustafa and Raja were friendly but discreet, and made... More

Riad Quenza is a great choice if you are looking for something in the centre of it all but within a peaceful and relaxing environment. Located down one of the many twists and turns in the souk within the medina, I would recommend paying the extra for airport transfers. From the Djemaa el fna it’s about a 5 minute walk... More

Nothing could have prepared us for the pure madness of Marrakech. Arriving in the early evening and nervously having our luggage carted around the square, we finally came upon the darkest alley unimaginable with a scatter of dodgy looking Morrocan lurkers. We were presented with a fancy wooden door and the porter hanging around for his tip (please don't be... More

If you are looking for a real taste of Marrakesh, this is your place. Situated in the middle of the medina, a five minute walk to Jemna el Fna and a two minute walk to the Square of Spices, the riad offered us everything we hoped to find in Marrakesh: a friendly, clean room decorated with beautiful colors and local... Had wanted to stay in an authentic Riad - and this did not disappoint. Had declined the offer of an (expensive) collection from the airport - so took a taxi to Jamaa El Fna (Dh100 - approx £8) and then phoned Ali on the provided number. He came and then took us to the Riad on foot - a five/ten... More

We went to Marrakesh in November 2007 for a long weekend, whicle visiting Spain. From Madrid there are 2h flights with Easy Jet, very cheap. I wanted to stay in a traditional marrocan house, a riad, not in a modern hotel. We stayed at Riad Quenza. The riad was not bing, about 6-8 rooms, each with a name and a... More

We arrved and were met as planned by Ali, who we assumed was the manager. A lovely meal and a bottle of wine had been prepared as requested by his colleague Naima, a wonderful young lady who seemed to work from morning till night non stop keeping the rooms clean and preparing breakfasts and any evening meals required. She prepared... More

My fiance and I stayed here during a busy period around Easter, when it was difficult to find bookings. Ali from the riad came to the airport and picked us up (for €15 per person, much more than a taxi) and guided us deep into the medina. Although it´s pretty close to the Djemaa el Fna (about a 10-minute walk),... More
