This is quite a way outside of Marrakech, circa 30 mins, and situated in an unusual location. However having said that I was surprised at the great environment within the hotel, the centre piece is the pool around which some of the rooms are situated, the eating area to one side and plenty of places to sit, reflect, read a... We were fooled by the pictures that does not show the hotel and its surroundings! Dirty rooms with stained bed sheets, NO WIFI INTERNET IN THE HOTEL NOR IN THE ROOMS LIKE ADVERTISED, very disappointed could not work nor relax. Pigeons and feces all around the pool and stairs. Terrible cheap management and horrible foods at a vertiginous price. More

This is a very beautiful hotel and the management bent over backwards to overcome our surprise and inconvenience at being 10k out of the centre with charm and large gin and tonics! Although they do have a courtesy mini-bus and in some situations augment it with taxis, there is some deceit about the location by not showing exactly where they... More

we spent only three days for our honeymoon, and they were three days in paradise. the food, the furniture, the kind and friendly staff..the way they cld mix oriental local spirite with the modern appliances..we cldn't imagine they had wi-fi within that overwhelming morrocan rose scent. Many thanks to Adil and Hayat for the nicest experience they gave us. although... More

The hotel was amazing and just what we expected, however, the lunch and evening meals were absolutely dreadful. They had the same menu for lunch and dinner (we were told they did a buffet lunch or a club sandwich of which we saw neither). Our first evening meal we had a choice of 3 things for starter, maincourse and pudding... More

The Management and Staff at Caravanserai are perhaps the kindest, sweetest people I have ever met. The manager hugged me when I left! The facility is beautiful, romantic and unique. If your intent is to spend all your time at the hotel around a pool. This is a lovely, quiet hotel. If however, you want to go to Marrakech, the... More

After spending 5 nights in a hotel in Marrackech for £280 in total, we were dissapointed when we arrived at Caravanerai. My husband and I spent 7 nights at this hotel for our honeymoon in October 2009. Upon arrival, we were taken to the Majorelle Suite which is lovely - beautiful Morrocan furnishings and a cute pool with trees and... More

We stayed in several riads in the medina. Caravan Serai is located in the palmerai, far away from the medina, it's a beautifull place to stay, but that's all. Too expensive for what it is, the staff is always nervous, and running, the food is not good at all, I'm glad I've been there so I could see it in... More

I came here for my honeymoon and then returned with two kids! I love Morrocco anyway but this hotel is a hidden gem. The staff are friendly and it changed ownership last time I was there so I hope the charm hasn't been lost. The food is great too. There are 17 rooms/suites and double that of staff. It is discreet,... More

I have to somewhat agree with one of the reviews below which compares this place to Fawlty Towers - service was really variable! Sometimes staff was really nice and helpful, sometimes they really didn't seem to care, which is not as good as I would expect from a hotel I consider fairly expensive. It seems like the owners are never... More
