although the "hotel zalagh kasbah & spa" is a bit away from the center, it therefore is a very nice getaway from the stress & diesel-air of the old medina. a FREE transport from the beautiful & spacious 'zalagh kasbah & spa' to the djemaa el fna is just another nice advantage this hotel offers its clients. what else? the... I booked a four night stay at this hotel on Groupon for myself and my sister. We were a bit concerned after reading some of the reviews concerning the staff but fortunately found them all to be helpful and friendly. I always find if you greet them with a big smile and hello you get the same response back! One... More

We stayed here 5 nights in May. Arrived very late on our first night and were given a lousy room to the noisy side of the hotel facing the street. We couldn't believe that this very large hotel didn't have any other rooms available, but it seems they had an unusually high number of tour groups that night, which are... More

I went to Zalagh Kasbah in March this year for a 5 night break with my daughter. On first impression the hotel is lovely. The room was spacious with a comfortable King size bed and adequate storage. We had a balcony with mountain views, though it was noisy first thing in the morning and last at night. The free shuttle... More

The hotel is big, but it's not clever. Really in desperate need of a face-lift and the staff didn't look much better. Hardly a smile between them the whole stay - apart from the aptly named Smiley in the lobby bar! We were there for 5 nights and didn't find the bar open once when we got back from dinner,... More

Me and my husband travelled to Marrakech on the 10th May and stayed at the Zalagh Kasbah hotel for 5 nights. When we first arrived we had to wait about 10 mins for the room. We payed 100d extra per night to have a pool view room which was lovely and made our stay much more pleasant. The rooms are... More

Your want to be impressed when you arrive, big lobby, nice decor, beautiful pool. whats the problem? Maintenance! Staff is slow, Ac didn't work, took 4 calls to get someone to come resolve the prob.(though I cant say the AC ever really got cold). The safe had no batteries, after numerous calls, they brought us a portable safe! yes one... More

my husband and i stayed at this hotel from the 22nd of april for 3 nights. We were ripped off at the airport for the taxi as it was 10minutes away so i would recommend the hotel to pick you up. We checked in around 8pm, it was fast and not much conversation from the front of desk. We were... More

Stayed here as part of a tour. Rooms are nice and well appointed. Rooms overlooking the pool can be noisy. Cleaning of the rooms is a bit hit and miss. We had to ask for clean pillow case and on the second day they only have us one towel in spite of 2 of is staying in the room. It... More

My husband and I plus some close friends of ours booked this hotel at a special discount price for a 4-day getaway. Upon arrival we were greeted by the most unfriendly group of Reception staff I have EVER met. They were surly, unsmiling, slow, arrogant and useless at their job. How these people ever got jobs at this hotel is... More
