the setting is intricate and beautiful, but of course you expect that in a riad. what we didn't expect was feeling TOTALLY at home despite 100% moroccan staff and ownership. Khadija and Mohammed and the entire staff were amazingly gracious and personable, anticipating our every need. the dinners there were prepared to order in advance and were honestly the best... More

I don't often write reviews but this place is truly amazing!!! The hotel itself is like a palace and a museum... it is gorgeous and stunning! The service was excellent and the staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. Even though we were not planning on eating at the hotel we ended up having dinner... More

Hidden in a dusty alleyway like so many of Fez's marvels, you enter the building through a drab alleyway right on the border of the old city (more convenient than lodging in the middle of the city where taxis can't reach). Once you get inside, however, this riad is absolutely gorgeous in every respect, with opulent rooms and amazing restored... More

This was one of the highlights of our trip and certainly by far the best Riad we stayed at, and we stayed at quite a number. The architecture was beautiful and the decor and some of the furnishings were exquisite. The staff were warm, friendly and extremely helpful. The food excellent.

Words can't begin to describe the beauty of the Riad and the rooms. Muhammad ensures impeccable service and attention and no detail is overlooked. The food was excellent and equally beautiful. the location cant be beat. I highly recommend this superb accommodation.

Riad is absolutely beautiful and food was good if not outstanding. Service was spotty with a lot of "management" and not enough "workers". Owner was a bit overbearing and was very unkind to our guide -- we couldn't figure out why as our guide was wonderful and not the least bit difficult. A bit more care on service would make... More

Our group arrived in Fes last April 16th and was whisked to this beautiful riad. At first, we were kind of worried when our driver Anzani parked the Grand Starex van in an area not typical for a hotel. The outside area going to the rias was dusty and the building around the area were non-assuming, plain mud like structures... More

The decoration and facilities of the hotels were fascinating...and dinner there was full of taste of Morocco. Situated in the Medina, mysterious and cultural. You will definitely need a guide to find the hotel, and to take you out from there :)

Just LOVED the place. We had the most beautiful room on the second floor. It didn't look like a room, more like staying in Aladdin's palace. It was our best hotel stay in Morocco! Breakfast was great, and they added salads based on our request. It was just so pleasant to come back from our daily tours to this beautiful... More

Dear Guest I always do think of the Fez Medina, like it is the little place that Aladdin and his friends had their adventures, so i truly appreciate the comparison :) We are glad that you had a lovely stay with here at the Riad, and of course it was a great pleasure to have you. Our stay here was marvelous. The Riad is gorgeous and surprisingly easy to find. The staff is very friendly and hospitable. Its very well located and you are just few minutes away from the souk and the blue gate. Our room was beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. They upgraded us to a suite without even asking them... More
