The riad was beautiful but the staff was a bit over bearing. Put us in many situations where we would be required to tip but for things we could have easily done on our own, like get directions. Our hotel appointed tour guide brought us to three shops where we were badgered into purchases and then thrown out when we... More

The Riad is perfectly positioned - it's right by the entrance to the Medina so you're just a short stroll away from immersing yourself in the truly amazing sights sounds and smells of the market, but being just outside it means you can retreat to a bit of calm when you've had enough of haggling. Also, the Medina is car-free... More

Riad Maison Bleue is a first class boutique hotel comprising a combination of three former courtyard houses on the edge of the Fez medina. It is only a few steps from the nearest vehicle access point but is quiet and very atmospheric. The combination of separate houses makes for an interesting internal layout with lots of quiet corners, courtyards, terraces... More

It's a nice hotel, but the rooms are just decent and there is no wifi in the rooms despite their assurances. We were forced to sit in the FREEZING lobby and even then the wifi did not always work. The bar was beautiful and eating breakfast on the roof was nice, although there wasn't really a view of anything besides... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your positive comments regarding the quality of our rooms, beautiful bar and nice breakfast served on the terrace. I would like to respond to your negative feedback in more detail. Regarding the wifi, the signal is less strong in some of the rooms, as the hotel is built in a traditional 19th century riad (I... The riad is perfectly located close to the blue gate at the edge of the fes medina, and while outside the hustle and bustle is not far away, inside the riad is a sea of tranquility, with many relaxing areas, great food, wonderful spa treatments, friendly staff and comfortable lodgings. Highly recommended More

We came to the Riad from an outstanding experience at a Riad in Marakesh, so we are comparing it to a very high standard. In general, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. One thing to be aware of is that RMB is a building built in early 20th century in a Moroccan style, rather than a centuries old... More

Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you so much for your feedback, I wonder if you could help us a little more by telling me which room you stayed in? The reason being, I would like to check the condition of the mattress you report having problems with. I am a little confused as all the mattresses are on the firm side (as... More

In the heart of the Medina, well located from the center and parking. It is a beautiful Riad i.e. 'old' Marrakech home for a very authentic local flavor. The Zellij work, the windows, the architecture is out of this world. Could not have asked for a better place to stay to get a real feel of the life of an... More

Never having stayed in a "Riad," which, I'm told, are old Moroccan villas restored to accommodate guests. I stayed in two - one in Fez and one in Marakesh - during my trip to Morocco. The Riad Maison Bleue was certainly memorable! Thankfully, they had valets to do the heavy humping - the stairs are windy and narrow. But it... More

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your lovely comments and we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay. I would just like to say that we have listened to your comments regarding the breakfast and have since completely changed what is on offer. As well as the fresh orange juice, selection of local breads and pastries (made in house),... More

We very recently stayed 3 nights at Riad Maison Bleue. It pretty much delivered as promised. A private, very comfortable and spacious room on the top floor, a nice terrace for dinner or breakfast and friendly staff. Being Morocco, the service isn't always super-slick but it is certainly very well-intentioned and delivered with a very nice smile. The riad is... More
