Elegant building, but upon arrival requested change for to tip porter and front desk had no change - suggested I try the bar - which also had no change - in a hotel of this caliber!! And they never suggested trying to get change. Upon checking out, I presented a credit card for incidentals and was told they don't accept... More

Dear Sirs, Thank you for your feedback. I am really upset reading your remarks about Riad Fès. We always give change to our customers when possible. If the receptionnist does not have coins or smaller notes, he or she always propose to send the porter to make the change. We accept payment by credit cards for all our guests without... More

Great stay at Riad Fes. Great breakfast. Beautiful spa and pool. Excellent hammam. Nice rooms. But the hotel seems to walk the fine line of becoming just another beautiful luxury hotel anywhere in the world. Would have liked to see a more Moroccan atmosphere, more quirkiness in design, more authenticity befitting the city of Fes, the cradle of Moroccan kingdom.... More

The Riad Fes was very elegant. The location, although within the old medina, is both authentic and yet convenient. Upon entering, an amazing room with intricate, lace-like plaster details on columns festooned with historically beautiful tile work fulfills every dream of seeing Moroccan architecture from superbly talented craftsmen. This large room was filled with tastefully elegant furnishings, typical of fairy... More

Very nice interior. Unique. But the Masria room we stayed in was dark and cramped and short of room amenities that hotel of such a class should offer. There is no tea or coffee making facility. There is no separate shower, and the bathtub lacks a shower curtain. The Masria room opens to the courtyard where the bar is, so... More

Walking into this Riad (guest house) is a shock: an bustling area, old neighbourhood, inconspicuous doorway and then... the Riad. A breathtaking, incredible dip into Arabian Nights. I have never seen such a beautiful hotel, I told the receptionist. That is because it is a Riad, she smiled. ;-) Comfortable rooms, spacious general areas, a good restaurant (albeit pricey, in... I had a good 3 nights stay at Riad Fes. It was mid winter therefore it was quiet and pleasant. The space has been well renovated with its corridors leading to interesting decor and views, the interior is a definite andalusian moroccoan style with contemporary interpretation. I was lucky to get the room with the window looking at the open... More

My husband and I just returned from a memorable weekend at the elegant Riad Fes. Here are the highlights that convinced us to visit this beautiful riad again: The location, although within the old medina, is both authentic and yet convenient. We spent two wonderful days in this family owned Riad. The staff was extremely friendly and cooperative. The interior design stylish and breathtaking. The location, itself is an experience we will not forget, apart from that the kitchen offers fine moroccan cuisine. The price reflects the service. There is nothing left to say as - we will come back. A gorgeous riad in the heart of old Fes. For me it was spoilt by the sub funk cool jazz fusion music in the public areas. Fortunately it was always turned off at breakfast when I asked them so they were very helpful. The room we were first assigned was opposite the bar and we could hear such "music" through... More
