I've written DO NOT STAY HERE in capital letters because I want to emphasize it. Despite it being gorgeous in surface beauty that is where it ends. The service is snarly at best, the food overpriced (400 dh for dinner!!!) and simply re-heated if it is heated at all (despite claims they have four chefs on the team), the rooms... More

What a super experience we've has at Sherazzad ryad! The hotel is fantastic,in the heart of the old city, we were living as in a 1001 nights movie. People are very king, service is irreprochable and quality of food unique and very distinguish. There is a pool surrounded by lovely palms in the main court. Defenetely a place to be an... More

My wife and I went to the Sheherazade and we lived an incredible experience. The Ambassador Suite we had was very distinguished and the roof in sculpted cedar was simply gorgeous. We also appreciated the large traditionnal bathroom and the Jaccusi. The Service was extremely attentive, very friendly and professional. We asked the Hotel to organise a tour around the Medina... We stayed for 2 nights in October 2011. The riad has a good location in the medina and it is a stunning place with lots of character. Unfortunately that's where the positives end. The food was distinctly average, bland and very overpriced. Head just a few streets into the medina for much more flavoursome and better priced fare. The pool is... More

We staid for days in this hotel at the start of the Ramadan and there was at that time an obvious lack of visitors. We received a VIP treat, the room was updated to a master suite, they supplied a professional guide that took us everywhere around - the choice of the guide makes the difference - the food is... I stayed at the riad on Oct 3, 2011 for 3 days. A strange place. The environment is nice but the hotel is poorly managed. The staff uniforms are worn out and not clean, the carpets in the bedroom are stained, food was very average. The pool area is nice but as you lie in your bathing suit next to... More

I'd say it may have belonged to minor royalty.tons of mosaics, hand decorated wood ceilings such as we saw in museums. Lovely peace and quiet. No vehicular traffic except the taxi which brought us. Beautiful central courtyard with trees and gardens where tons of birds gather in the evening and early morning. Nice hamam but skip the massage which was done... More

We went to Fez as part of our honeymoon trip and decided to spend a bit extra on some nice accomodation. The website makes this hotel look very plush and offers all sorts of extra services. Despite the mixed reviews, I was hopeful that we would have a good experience. When we arrived, there seemed to be some confusuon about... More

My wife and I spent five nights in early June of 2009 at the Ryad Sheherazade. We were not disappointed by its beauty and rather authentic look and feel. If you're visiting Fes and want an authentic Moroccan experience then I highly recommend this Ryad. Rooms are delightfully decorated with authentic Moroccan furniture, paintings and artefacts. The food was excellent... More
