We were driving back from Florida and the highway was backed up for miles so we were forced to stay here. We asked the clerk if he had many rooms available and the clerk said it was almost full but all the room keys were still behind him....anyway we decided to try it since we were totally exhausted. The place... More

I apologize that you had such a bad experience at one of our affiliate hotels. In response to you naming this as the particular one you stayed at I think you are mistaken. We do not have any male clerks that work for this hotel at all. I have not had a male clerk here in over a year. As... More

Smells and cleanliness reminsiscent of skid row stay in LA 30 years ago (6th and Main). I booked through Orbitz and notified them of conditions, they in turn notified hotel ...nothing accomplished. Bugs out of vent over sink, third world. The staff were so pleasant and I couldn't imagine facing that situation every day without tetanus shots.

The WORST experience we have EVER had. Hard to find a room in Augusta during the Masters, and we wound up there. The first night we were enjoying the warm outside air (we're from Ohio) when we were approached by two very scary looking men asking for liquor and cigarettes. We then went inside and called the local police who... More

I've stayed here before, only because its cheap during Masters week and my boss is all about cheap. But even though I knew what I was getting myself into, the "Dirty Carpet Inn" outdid itself this time. The first room I was in had a broken shower and the bath tub was so awful, I wouldn't have washed my dog... More

My brother and I unsuspectedly stayed in this drug unfested hotel. This is the worst dump I have ever seen. We requested a refund and were denied. He is now fighting for his life in a local hospital. Travelers beware.

You pay for what you get during the MASTERS. Pay $125.00 per night here or $200.00 per night at a Motel 6. Just as bad but $75.00 per night less. Or you can pay $325.00 at a good hotel that is naomally only $90.00 per night. YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET DURING THE MASTERS!!!!

Unless you are homeless I would strongly advise you to stay away from this dump. I was recently in Augusta, Georgia for a high school reunion and I spent eight hours in this so called hotel. This place sucked! It was so filthy that my wife wouldn't even take a shower or allow my kids to brush their teeth. She... More
