Although we are not divers, we had the BEST snorkeling! Great side-trips to the Inst Marine Sci to snorkel with the dolphins. They are so affectionate and playful! Had a fabulous tour of the island and mangroves with Tim Blanton, resident photographer. So interesting. We met the owner of the Iguana Park who has turned his land into a nature... More

If you want a great scuba experience this is the place to go!! The dive masters, the ocean life, the ease of the dive experience....all the very best! But go knowing that's all there really is to do unless laying in a hammock with a book trying to stay cool is the other activity you want!! You will take a... More

We had a wonderful time at Coco View Resort. The best way for me describe this resort is like "scuba camp". We dove an average of 4 dives a day but you can easily do more. The rooms are clean but this is not a 5 star resort; it is perfect for divers. The food is buffet style. You help... More

I have nothing but great things to say about our stay at Cocoview. I picked it because of the positive nature of the Tripadvisor reviews and mainly because of the ability to shore dive whenever you want and in particular solo if you want to, some spots will not let you shore dive solo even though you're an adult and... A well-managed, friendly (both in terms of the staff and guests) "resort". I only snorkel, but I felt right at home. The dive center facilities are excellent .. someone did a great job setting them up. Our room was well-appointed and clean... I didn't even notice the absence of a TV or telephone until about the third day... heck, the... More

My COCO VIEW RESORT. . Snorkelling Adventure . . . My husband and I just got back from 14 days of beautiful sun and fun at our home away from home . . . Coco View Resort in Roatan. Now Barry is a diver (part fish I think) and I am an avid snorkeler. He enjoys the 2 boat dives... More

What an absolutely lovely slice of heaven. I got to tag along on a dive trip (not a diver) and I'm so glad I went. We upgraded to an "over-water" cabana...so worth the upgrade. 3 great meals a day (I'm still working it off) and even popcorn at cocktail hour. The staff was very friendly, the hosts were very easy... More

This would be the 2nd time I have visited Coco View in the last 18 years. From my experience I can only say CCV just get better as time goes by. Most, if not all, the units (including bungalows) have a good A/C system. What is missing (and should be) is the TVs and telephone. From the moment that you... More

Coco View is on its own private island. They took us there by water boat. I loved that I picked to stay in an over the water bungalow. The view of the ocean was amazing. I was able to see the ocean life below from my balcony. This was a great place for deeper diving. I was a snorkeler so... More

This was our first visit, as we will either dive on a liveaboard or exchange a timeshare condo. When exchanging the condo, we are able to do some exploring on our own. However, this was a very different vacation, and as I was celebrating a birthday half way through the week, I wanted to have someone else take care of... More
