We booked a room in this hotel, but didn't arrive due to a sudden change of schedule. We hadn't notified the owners, so they had every right (and means) to charge us, but they hadn't. As a result, i can't comment on the hotel itself, but the owners are very decent people. More

the owner is very friendly but money comes first. He asked me to bring a box of scent for him and he told me he would pay up to 40 euros but when I came with the box which cost him 24. Far from grateful etc. He charged me 34 dollars for the top room. Yes it was comfortable and... More

We enjoyed spending New Year´s Eve in this hotel, staying five nights in total, in a double with private bathroom. The following are the advantages of this place: - very nice and helpful owners who also speak some English - warm water in the shower for real (due to the height Chichi may sometimes get a little cold) - very... We were here for one night on December 20, 2011, just before the last day of the huge Santo Tomas festival.( I believe that was the name of the holiday). Another hotel that was a few blocks away and full, recommended the Hotel Chalet to us. We needed four rooms for our two families that were travelling together. The owner,... More

Very nice room, nicely decorated place, Manuel is extremely helpful and friendly. Free wi-fi, water and in a decent location just away from the center. Unfortunately we were surrounded by barking dogs day and night. Can't say if it would be different anywhere in Chichi. Just make sure you've got a good set of ear plugs. More

We visited Chichi on July 11/12 2011, and stayed in Chalter hotel. It is nicely situated just outside the center. But Chichi isn't that big. Everything is walking distance. The owner Manual is a very friendly person who speaks english well. We loved our stay in the very clean, small rooms. The breakfast was good, and became better the second... More

We stayed one night ( Wednesday ) before the ChiChi market. We didn't book ahead, but Manuel had a room available. Manuel is one of the biggest pluses of this hotel: friendly and always willing to help. The rooms are a little bit on the small side and so was the double bed. The onsuite was also small, but clean.... More

The location of this small hotel is perfect, an easy walk to the market but far enough away to be out of the noisy craziness. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, even helping to carry our bags to the bus station. The room was small but clean and comfortable, quite adequate for the very affordable price. My only complaint... More

Pulling into Chichi tired and dusty late on a Saturday afternoon, after having made our reservations with the owner over the phone a couple of weeks previously, we were dismayed to find that he had no available rooms. He claimed that "the internet service" had lost our reservations (even though we didn't use one)! He did, however, offer to help... More

The owner Manuel is incredibly friendly and will do what he can to make your stay as comfortable as possible! My boyfriend was sick during our stay, and Manuel made sure that we had everything we needed. He also gave great tips about the best times to visit the market and where to find other activities. The hotel is simple... More
