I stayed at Mama Noots Eco Lodge for one night. We started with zip lining and continued with waterfall rappelling. 100% safe, 100% fun and 100% thrill. The overnight stay was simply spectacular. In the middle of birds, apes and other animals the night was very fascinating. Very good food and friendly service. Thanks for this great experience! Hendrik More

We stayed at Mama Noots for one night and it was wonderful! The adventure began with ziplining which was pure fun and excitement. The zips go from slow to fast, from long to short runs but all of them are different. And in addition we did repelling inbetween some of the zips for an additional kick! Just great! The guides... We did the Zip Line which was amazing. The cost was $65 US but the value was there. The gear was solid and I felt very safe. The two guides were Jose and Tony. They were very knowledgeable and very serious about safety and us having a good time. I took my two daughters 8 and 10, wife and two... More

I'm quite surprised Mama Noots still remains off the radar given the amazing experience we had. The location is stunning, the lodge is located in the middle of Mayflower/Bocinawa national park. If you love the outdoors, you will be at home here. We stayed in one of the beautifully decorated cabanas which overlook the mountains. Everything was super clean as... More

We stopped by Mama Noots one very wet day in February without a reservation and although not official open until the following week we were welcome to stay in a lovely cabana. The new owners and management were very friendly and the only disappointment was the torential out of season rain that meant that we couldn't get out into the... More

Great place to stay if you love the oudoors/jungle. Just ask for Richard and he will take care of you. He took us up to the top of the mountain about 2.4 miles to the waterfall. amazing experience. While my family and I were there we saw a Zip line being built. Richard and the Chef Mrs Marcie were outstanding,... More

I recently had the opportunity to visit and meet the new owners of Mamanoots Eco Lodge in the Mayflower Bocawina National Park. I can only describe it as "heaven on earth" It's breaktaking to be surrounded by acres of jungle and the only sound is that of the birds and Howler Monkeys. The new owners Linda & Nick are renovating... More

We traveled for 3 weeks in Belize and and stayed at Mama Noots for a couple of nights during out last week. As an earlier review stated, excellent marketing strategies that describe something totally unlike the experience we actually had. Dirty rooms with structural problems that allowed the bugs to literally pour in the rooms. Sanitation issues - drains leaking... More

Mama Noots is special, perhaps unique. I stayed there 3 nights on a long solo trip across Belize by buses. Nan even picked me up on the highway. Took daily jungle hikes to nearby falls. Nan cooked excellent vegetarian meals. I was put into a beautiful 2 room cottage. No AC, but surround-screened windows kept it cool and with help... More

On our fourth trip to Belize, Mama Noots was our first night’s lodging after arriving from Houston. Even though our plane was late, Nan, the owner, met us at the Dangriga airport and was waiting for us with a warm greeting. Transfer to her property was via her own battered pickup truck, but the A/C worked and her conversation was... More
