I stayed 2 nights in late May, when the hotel was not very crowded. Easy though boring 2.5 hr drive from Belize Airport. Beware of the detour going west through San Ignacio - signs are hidden or nonexistent. Go to "Low Level Bridge" or you could be in trouble. Weather hot but room not uncomfortable without A/C.
