My family and I loved this place. Excellent service beginning with the personal greeting every time we came back to the hotel, to the initial cool drink and hand massage upon arrival. The rooms were lovely and clean as were the restaurant and bar - actually all the public rooms. There's no phone or TV so its very quiet at... More

From the moment we were picked up at the Belmopan Airport by Freddy and Walter we were treated like royalty. The 90 minute drive to Hidden Valley did include a stretch of bumpy dirt road, although it wasn't nearly as bad as we were prepared for and these guys are the best dirt road drivers we have ever had. Eight... More

I have read the many glowing reviews of this place, and to an extent I can see what they are talking about. It's a very nice lodge in a remote place with good food and drink and some nice touches. Wildlife is good and the local guides know where to find such local specialities as Orange-breasted Falcon, Tody Motmot and... More

3. Hidden Valley in the Caye district of Belize. Great place in a totally out in the wilderness location. If you are driving you must have a good 4x4. Expect to take at least an hour from San Ignacio on extremely extremely bumpy road. Do Not take shorter road from Western Highway, go through San Ignacio. Signs well marked. Great... More

Dear supuvjmom Thank you for the positive feedback and lovely review of Hidden Valley Inn. We hope in the near future the roads will be repaired and make the driving through the Mountain Pine Ridge more pleasurable. Our Executive Chef has taken note of your concern regarding the price of food, and she will be adding more options to the... More

We stayed here for four nights in March. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, first class. We were collected in San Ignacio by Freddy and the drive takes about 1 hour. We organised our tours beforehand by email, we did the ATM caves which were fantastic, be aware that the drive there takes about 2 hours. The tour here is outsourced to... More

Dear elswhere Thank you for the review and your wonderful comments. We are pleased that we made your Honeymoon special and memorable. Attention to detail is paramount to attaining high standards of service. We will be rectifying the privacy issue with King Vulture suite (Room 7) by deviating the walkway to Room 8 ( Orange Breasted Falcon suite). Thank you... More

This place is absolutely STUNNING! The cabanas are AMAZING. I'd want to do my house like this! So clean and high class. Outdoor Orchid Shower- wow! And the verdana-the most relaxing place I've ever been... The whole resort is massive! I can't even tell you the acres. There's so much to do and see. I wish we could live here! We'd... More

My wife and I spent three nights here in February on the way from Guatemala to Ambergris Caye. This was by far the best hotel (out of five) we stayed on our trip. The location, facilities, food and service were outstanding. On Valentines Night the staff went to endless trouble to put on a special dinner on the patio and... More

My wife and I spent this past weekend (2 nights & 3 days) at the Hidden Valley Inn, the food is a bit pricey, but when you consider what it takes to offer such delicious meals combined with incredible service, it's all worth it! We took our mountian bikes to ride a portion of their 95 miles of trails. Andre,... More

I stayed at this hotel in 2007 and to be frank, the beauty of the area is the reason why I came back to Belize for another holiday. The lodges are homely, if a little cosy - especially with the wood fires in the cooler evenings, the staff are exceptional and the food excellent. The location and the size of... More
