Didn't stay here but ate dinner here twice. The pizza was made fresh and delicious. Got a chicken quesadilla and it was phenomenal! By far one of the cheapest places to eat outside of San Pedro. Breakfast menu and prices looked great but we did not get a chance to have breakfast there.

Our group was staying at Belizean Shores and heard about the Morning Yoga classes taught over the water. It was fantastic! This was our first stop in Belize and we could not have picked a better spot! The staff was great and all of the guests were super friendly. Once a year the ocean washes up garbage from various ship wreaks, hurricanes, illegal dumping etc. making our beach time unpleasant but the residents do their best to keep it clean. A... More

Yoga barracks are a great deal ($) for Ambergris but we stayed in an ocean front cabana. Excellent sea breeze but not nearly as good a value. This is not your ordinary resort. Kirsten & Milio make your stay an authentic experience. Great location, yoga queen extraordinaire, super good prices, and the barracks are the best deal on the island if you are on a budget. You will nit be disappointed.

I stayed at Ak'bol in August 2011. I stayed in a bungalow with my mom for a week and It was fantastic, everyone was welcoming, Milio and Kirsten helped us plan activities during the day and Philip and Ellen were extremely welcoming as restaurant staff. It was incredibly relaxing and an amazing vacation. I hope to return sooner than later!
