Official Description (provided by the hotel):: Nestled in the quiet Sierra pines of Arnold, California in Calaveras County, Mountain Retreat is just three hours from Lake Tahoe, Yosemite and the San Francisco Bay Area. The suites are duplex-style, which give our guests ample space and privacy during their stay with us. Due to reconstruction, the clubhouse has been temporarily closed. Unfortunately, this means that the following resort amenities will not be available to its guests - pool, spa, sauna, business center, fitness center, pool table, foosball table and a movie theatre / gaming room. Due to the varying schedule of repairs, these items are currently out of order until further notice. Upon the completion of the reconstruction, a Convenience Fee will be applied to all reservations at check in. This fee will include Internet and parking along with all other resort amenities.Accessibility: Not all areas of our resort are Handicap Accessible. There are stairs leading to each suite as well as other areas on property. we found this resort just perfect! We stayed in calistoga unit 10 which slept 8. It was very clean and didn't find it dated.
