I stayed at this hotel for a conference at the convention center and the proximity was very convenient - less than a block away. The lobby was modern and had so many alcoves and sitting areas that were conducive to meeting up with colleagues or getting some work done. The lobby wi-if worked great and I enjoyed the lobby atmosphere... More

Stayed at the Renaissance for a professional meeting at the Washington Convention Center. It was wonderful to have such close access to the meeting site. Per recommendations from other Trip Advisor reviewers, I asked for an outward-facing room. Stayed on the 10th floor which was very quiet despite street and construction noise below. I loved it that the management placed... More

I am currently staying at the Renassiance and my experience has been wonderful! From the moment I checked in the hotel Brittany and Anderson have gone out of their way to ensure that I got settled in and off to my meeting at American University. The Metro is just a short walk and there are lots of great restaurants around... More

The rooms are very comfortable and clean. I especially liked the convenient parking garage and relaxing lobby. The best part of the hotel, however, is the competent and knowledgeable staff, who rival the best of them. My only gripe is the price tag-way to much for an inconveniently-located hotel (for the National Mall, not the convention center) in off-peak time.... More

Our family (parents, and young adult children with their significant others) stayed at the Renaissance Washington DC Hotel on Ninth Street in Washington for a graduation celebration at Georgetown Law School in late May. We had a wonderful time--the rooms were very comfortable and clean and well-priced; the staff was extremely helpful and friendly; the gym was huge and spa-like;... More

I stayed at this hotel due to a conference I was attending and it is down the street from the conference center. By nature, I generally do not stay at large hotels. This one was pretty decent! The attendants were numerous and vigilant. They were nice and most helpful. The foyer is nicely appointed and busy. There is a restaurant... More

Returned to this hotel, hoping for a better experience than a year earlier. The location is really convenient to the Mall and monuments, and that's a great reason to stay here. Their weekend rates are very competitive with any other hotels in DC, but without the hassles of metro, cabs, etc. That's the good stuff. The staff is friendly but... More

The location is great, nearby metro station (2 blocks) and about 10-15 minutes walking to the National Mall. There are good restaurants around, especially in the 7th Street and also a bike sharing station about 2 blocks. My husband and I stayed at the Renaissance while I was in DC for a conference.
