Stayed at the Washington Plaza Hotel for one night while in DC for a little rest and relaxation. I checked in about 10:30am and a room was already available for me. The room was spacious, clean, and a little larger than I expected. One of the reasons I chose the hotel was for the outdoor pool and I wasn't disappointed.... More

First time in Washington this April and this hotel is lovely. Very friendly staff, clean rooms and beds good size, no noise, and within walking distance of the attractions. The best hotel we have stayed in during our holidays in America so far.

I travel to DC about 1 or 2 times a year and had been wanting to stay here for a few years. I stayed here for 2 nights in early April and loved it. The room service is very tasty and they have a decent selection, the hotel is very clean and up to date, and the staff are fantastic.... More

My boyfriend and I made a trip to DC for my birthday weekend. We decided on this hotel because we got a great rate on Hotwire and it was located downtown. We had a queen size room which I am assuming is their smallest room considering you can upgrade to a king size bed for an extra $30.00 a night.... More

This would have to be one of the best hotels we have stayed at on our 9 week trip to the U.S.A. from Australia. the staff were great, hotel location to all attractions was perfect and convenient. The hotel facilities were the best particularly the lounge bar very relaxing and quiet. Anyone that is looking for a great hotel without... More

Stayed at the Washington Plaza for 3 nights and was totally happy with the hotel. Room was a nice size, with vanity and shower conveniently separated. The concierge was very helpful in suggesting restaurants close by and for arranging tours. As suggested by many reviewers on Trip Advisor, we asked for a room on higher floors with a view over... Last minute decision to come to DC post Cherry bloosoms seaso hoping to find cheaper hotels but man, it costs me a bomb having to pay $200 a nite(via internet) without breakfast or transfers (by way of comparison pay same price at Holiday Inn Express on the fringe of city - so what do you want to trade off ?)... We just stayed at the Washington Plaza for 5 nights and it was really nice. The rooms, like everyone has said, have been renovated and have crisp bedding which I like. There were 2 of us in the room, two double beds. Lots of room for us, offered all the soaps, lotions etc in case you forgot yours, nice quality.I... More

I stayed at the Washington Plaza for the weekend. It was my second time at the hotel, having stayed there for business in January. The hotel is fresh off a major renovation of its guest floors. The new furnishings are bright and fun, and while the rooms are on the small side, generally very comfortable. The hotel generally is very... More

Everything was quite ok with the stay, until the last day when we left. The hotel is close to the White House and it has a lot of bakeries and stores around it. The room was clean, although it seemed a bit smallish for 4 people, and they provided free water bottles each day. Our problem came when we left... More
