There are so many reasons why I would like to stay here with my kids again. • Reasonable Rate - We availed of the Memorial Weekend Package • Great Location – The hotel is close to a lot of restaurants, the Zoo and the Metro • Great Resort Style Swimming Pool – My kids loved it! • Friendly Staff •... My husband and I are in our mid 30s, and decided to stay here over Memorial Day weekend 2012, solely to relax at the pool (one of the few hotel pools in DC) area. We are DC area locals, very used to crowds, densely populated urban settings, and tourists. What we encountered at the Shoreham pool was beyond that...it was... More

My family went to D.C. to tour colleges for our son. The Omni was a great location as it was only two metro stops from American U. and three stops from G.W. Access to the downtown is easy with a metro stop a very short distance away. As far as the hotel...very nice accommodations....great staff......comfortable beds....clean... and safe....nice pool... Make... More

I stayed at the Omni Shoreham hotel a few days back. While the hotel is good and we got decent spacious rooms, i somehow felt the woodley park area where the hotel is located is quite dead compared to say a dupont circle. That is the only reason why i would not highly recommend this hotel. If you get a... More

This latest stay at the Omni was probably my 15th! Our company stays there each year for our spring conference. So I know the layout and the restaurants, which is comforting. It's an older property and the rooms are spacious - truly making it feel like I'm "home" at the end of the day. Staff are friendly, beds are comfortable,... More

Stayed 7 days, the hotel is massive, and has some history worth reading about, have awalk around to get a feel of the celebration dinners and events which must and still do take place. The rooms are also grand thankfully and even a double has enough walking space to put suites in some places I have visited to shame. It... More

Historic. Style hotel built approx 1930,s era, lots of celebrities have stayed . The room I had was a king size bed, very clean, small bathroom , clothes closet. Desk for your computer but no extra plugs , you only have one plug in a lamp base to plug in your cell phone, iPad or laptop very poor design for... More

I stayed at the Omni for 6 nights this past Spring Break in April with my 10 year old daughter. I was a bit nervous that perhaps this location would be too far from all of the museums when all was said and done and was also nervous about taking the Metro. I also wondered if perhaps the hotel would... More

I stayed here one night in early May 2012 for a meeting. The hotel is certainly steeped in enough tradition to make for some interesting reading/displays of the who's who of DC politics past. The room was very nicely appointed and one could still sense the older touches along with some very nice new updates. The elevators reflect a bygone... More

This hotel is absolutely stunning and packed to the brim with history. I have stayed here twice and both times I found the experience to be luxurious and very enjoyable. It is located very close to the subway and the zoo, and those famous pandas. I cannot wait for my next visit to the Omni Shoreham.
