This is a very nice hotel - exactly what you would expect from a Hyatt - quality rooms, furnishings, bed, bedding, desk, lighting, TV, bathroom, towels, amenities, etc. Everything was clean and in excellent condition. My room was directly across from a fire station, however it was surprisingly quiet - I could barely hear anything (so nothing to worry about... More

This is a pretty average hotel all the way around. It is clean and the rooms are fairly comfortable. You want to stay here if it's important to be in walking distance to the Capitol and the mall. The Sunday brunch is a bit pricey but it's not easy to find a place to eat in the neighborhood on a... More

This is an excellent choice for a hotel to do business in the DC area - I stay here all the time (20+ nights per year). Easy trip in from Reagan Airport, close to the various Administration departments, walking distance to Capital Hill and the legislative offices, 2 blocks to Union Station - the location cannot be beat. The staff... More

I was overwhelmed by the customer service at this hotel. All the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was very central. A short walk to Union Station made this very convenient for getting around the Capitol Hill area. Surprisingly, my room was directly located across the street from the Fire Dept. I wondered if this might be a... More

We decided to stop here for a few days on our trip across the us. We ended up staying 4 nights. The accommodations were great, we were upgraded, and the staff from doormen to bellmen to check in staff to concierge were helpful with all of our questions and recommendations. the room was clean, the sheets crisp, the room service... This is an incredibly busy hotel which caters to conventions, groups and all sorts of nuts who want to protest something - as its 3 blocks from the capital and supreme court buildings. Upon checking in, I asked the desk if it was near an elevator and she said no...fine. I got off the elevator and it was the very... More

Stayed at the Hyatt in November 2011 while attending a conference. The hotel was conveniently local within walking distance of Union Station and Capital Hill. Still, it felt quiet and residential. The staff was great; willing to go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. My only peeve was that there was a fee for internet use. I have... More

I stayed at the Hyatt during MLK weekend 2012, for a special event. The staff throughout were very helpful, very friendly and generally seemed to go out of their way to make our stay pleasant. It was a very positive experience. More

The hotel was nice enough, wouldn't pay more than what we pay through Hotwire though. The room was nice and clean, like I said nothing special. It was nice that it was walking distance to Union Station, but pretty much it. If you want nightlife go get a place closer to Georgetown. Parking was outrageous ($46 per night), then again... More
