Cheapest hotel we found near our conference. Surprised and pleased that the price of one room got each of us our own room and bath. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the area was safe--lots of folks out at all hours. I will stay here with my family the next time we go to DC.

Absolutely love this hotel. Right in the middle of everything; inexpensive, clean, friendly staff, restaurant and convenience store on-site. Rooms are small but we're out and about all day and all evening sightseeing - we don't need a huge space, just a safe, clean place to crash. Got a 2-room suite with two bathrooms for $179/night. The Hotel needs major updates , MATTRESSES. etc. Nice staff. Stayed a week and had to move to a room with a bathroom that had room to move around in. I need a little better comfort.

Just returned from 3 nights at the Harrington. My 2 friends and myself were treated very well and had a very enjoyable. stayed here cuz it was the cheapest in the heart of the city. what a disappointment. very old and rundown. needs major renovations to even be rated poor. rooms are teeny tiny and bathrooms were barely roomy enough for a child! the only positive was that the employees were nice. do yourself a favor, don't stay here.
