A group of us usually travel to DC in early spring and have stayed here three or four days past two years. It is no frills, but price is good, and location is great. Couple blocks from Metro. Subway, Starbucks, Burger King, Italian restaurant, and pizza place nearby. It is a no frills kind of place, can have noisy folks... More

Good hotel but expect nothing extraordinary. Rooms are good and clean, professional staff, easy check in/ check out process. Hotel is located in a nice local neightborhood close to Van Ness metro station. Short ride will get you to Dupont Circle or Union Station. Short walk to restaurants/bars. Parking is available for the hotel guests.

After all the extra "fine print" charges, my $220.00 bill quickly turned into a $300.00 bill ! * Please be careful.* The charges for parking per day alone is ridiculous ! Every spoken word, noise and snore from those around us was easily heard through the walls. The staff was not friendly at all. The hotel had a stench about... More

This hotel has a interesting location right on a main street. Parking is a little hectic and tight. Close to stores and other amenities. Rooms are dark and cozy. Dark walls and dark carpet with dark furniture. Very old presidential feeling to it. Room had a mini fridge which was a bonus. Also hotel lobby was nice and bright compared... More

This Day's Inn offers affordable prices in an expensive city. I stay here regularly for business trips. Since I work for a non-profit, I have a very limited travel budget. I haven't found a better value in the DC area. It is three blocks from the Red Line Metro stop, Van Ness-UDC. There are plenty of places to eat (Epicurean... More

The lobby was dirty. The rooms were small and dirty...stains on the carpet, cigarette burns on the carpet in a non-smoking room. So glad we were able to get out and find other reservations. It is in the middle on no where if you are in DC to tour!

We were down this time for just the night. When you are busy with plans and just need a place to sleep this is it! It is clean. They are very accomodating with luggage and parking on early check-ins. Close to public transportation. We have stayed multiple times.

We can thoroughly recommend this hotel. The staff were very pleasant especially Maria who checked us in. The area is safe to walk and there are several restaurants in the close proximity. The hotel is a little out of the main city centre but is easily accessed by train with the station close by.

Every sound in the hall and the adjacent rooms could be heard in our room making it hard to sleep. Poor sound proofing!!!
