The place was nice, good value for money. It is close to the howard university and close to union station. I think they can approve it terms of room cleanliness and bathrooms. otherwise the place is nice, very confortable home feeling. good value for money as well.

Incredibbly quaint, 100+ year old former church converted into bread and breakfast. Clean, reasonable and great location. We traveled to DC for the Cherry Blossom festival and stayed the weekend at Bloomingdale Inn. There is nothing special about the place. It was definitely not worth $150 per night. It was a small room that was tidy as any Hampton INN in a big city would be. The innkeepers are very cordial.

The love you are shown and feel as soon as you walk in the door is something you aren't going to get at a large hotel chain. If you can get past the climbing stairs, you will love it here. Great breakfast and food selection, clean rooms and restrooms, and unmatchable charm! Will go back indeed!
