This hotel is clean and well-maintained, with a friendly staff. All parts of the hotel I saw were up-to-date. Though it is not as fancy as some Hilton properties, it works well for families. As for the location--the hotel is one mile to the Mall. The walk is pleasant along clean, safe streets. If you have young kids, as we... More

Overall we enjoyed our stay in this hotel during the first week of April. We are a family of five, so the suite layout with two double beds and a sleeper sofa was perfect. Even though we didn't cook in the room, it was nice having the full size refrigerator for drinks and snacks. There is a Whole Foods and... More

I generally like Hilton hotels, and this one was okay. Even though I requested a non-smoking room, we were given one that was. The rooms were big, and I liked that the sink was separate from the shower/toilet area. The hotel is with in walking distance to Chinatown, the White House, and a couple of metro stations. The breakfasts were... More

So, I'm not going to repeat what most folks have mentioned - this hotel is a pretty good value for what you get in the area. I would definitely stay here again. I'm just adding some notes that may help someone else out: I just stayed overnight at the Homewood Suites on a quick trip to visit the Polish embassy... More

Couldn't get into the Hilton Garden Inn, my preference for DC. HS is about a five block walk from the nearest metro (McPherson Square). It's OK, but a bit seedy and rundown--though perfectly clean. And cheap. We stayed two nights and I wouldn't want to make this my base for a longer term visit.

We spent three nights here last week and could not have been more pleased. My wife was a bit skeptical, but after we checked in and she saw the suite, she was totally pleased. Everything was as described here, if not better. The best part was perhaps the daily breakfast, but the in-room quiet, hot water and wi-fi were right... More

I stayed there for 5 nights. The suite we stayed was quite large, rooms were clean - service was excellent even you cannot see any housekeeper around :) The room price was included wifi, buffet breakfast and dinner. Dinner buffet was simple but delicious. Hotel location was also good. It is in the middle of three metro stations, each one... More

I stayed here while traveling for business, so I have no impression on the cost/value. Aside from that, the service was excellent, the rooms were clean with two televisions, dual-burner stove, full refrigerator/freezer, and a dishwasher. Wireless internet (was very slow at times, but it worked). Small gym downstairs had some dumbells, two tredmills, and an elliptical. Complimentary breakfast every... More

Location is amazing. Was able to find street parking for free. Neighborhood is really nice and clean, very well lit up while walking back to the hotel late at night. When checking in (very quick) they did not have my bed preference available to me, they solved that problem right away. Great customer service here with no attitude. The rooms... More
