We were guests for two days and having nothing but pleasant things to say about the Shipman house. It was an excellent change from a hotel stay and our hosts made a great effort to make their home feel like ours. The location couldn't be better as most attractions are within walking distance. Perfect location for sightseeing and dining, the Logan Circle and Dupont Circle areas have many restaurants and are within reasonable walking distance from the Metro. The house are garden are lovely as is the surrounding neighborhood.

We stayed for 4 nights in the apartment with our 2 boys, aged 7 and 10. It was great to have the extra space!
