I had the good fortune of attending an evening put on by the Bay of Many Coves Resort last Saturday. It was a 'Tattinger' full degustation dinner accompanied by an evening of great laid back Jazz. by 'Club Sandwich'. The meal was absolutely the best that I have tasted, the staff were brilliant and could not have run things better.... More

My wife and I stayed at the BOMC for two nights, where the theme was jazz music. Appropriately, the three piece band was playing on the jetty when we arrived, and when we left, and again during the two evening meals. This is a superbly tranquil spot, where we slept with both the curtains and the windows open to ensure... More

We stayed for 2 nights prior to walking the 71km Queen Charlotte Track. What a great find! Set in an absolutely stunning location in the Marlborough Sounds the resort is reached by a water taxi ride from Picton. The complex has been built to give everyone views of the bay whether you are sitting in your room, on your deck... More

Thank you for the kind feedback. We hope you enjoyed your days on the QC track when you departed the resort, we were impressed to see you were carrying your packs with you, what an effort - well done! The chefs are glad you enjoyed the cuisine during your stay , the degustation is a wonderful treat for the senses.... More

Wonderful setting! Must take a boat to this hotel set on an island north of Picton. All inclusive setting wth beautiful views. Kayaking and hiking are the main activties. Don't be surprised by a pod of Orcas while kayaking to a secluded beach!

Thank you for your review, we are glad you enjoyed the sense of adventure here at the Bay of Many Coves resort. We are indeed accessed only by boat, helicopter or floatplane - however we are part of the mainland but the roads do not stretch this far out the Queen Charlotte Sound which makes you feel like you are... Excellent facilities and management and staff. From our welcome when we arrived we were impressed with the thoughtfulness of all involved. Would recommend the resort highly to others. It was a weekend to remember and many happy memories will remain. Gorgeous scenery to match the comfortable one bedroom apartment.

Found by accident while out cruising the Marlborough Sounds on a friends yacht and will be coming back to this extremely stunning resort with accommodation and restaurant. A real 5 star location - which can only be reached by boat, helicopter or sea plane - we live in the area and did not know it was here but we will... More

Just came back from a long weekend at the Bay of Many Coves Resort, and it was AMAZING. The location is stunning, but remote, only accessible by boat, 30 minutes or so from Picton, and 1hr30 from Queen Charlotte track on foot. We were in a 1-bedroom unit which was spacious, clean and decorated in relaxing soft neutral tones. And... More

What a great description of your time here at the resort, we just loved reading about your hike with Merlot and can imagine him acting just as you say! We've passed your feedback onto the chefs and they are thrilled you loved the cuisine as much as they love cooking it. A lovely review, thank you. From the team at... More

Spent 3 days at the resort over my partners birthday and was extremely pleased with our choice. From the moment you are greeted at the wharf on your arrival the staff perfectly adapt to your needs. Always available, but never overbearing. The resort itself is stunning. We were fortunate to catch with horizon to horizon blue skies, but even in... More

When we were planning a few days' break somewhere in South Island on the water (it being summer), the BOMC Resort came to mind. We'd admired it from the boat a few years ago when we were setting out for the four-day Queen Charlotte Track (QCT) walk and I'd kept it in mind. We arrived on the first Cougar Line... More

Set in a truly stunning location, we found this resort to be one of the highlights during our time in New Zealand. The apartment was big, well appointed with amazing views.
