We stayed at The Glengary in December before and after hiking The Queen Charlotte Track and Glenys and Gary kindly let us leave our car there. A high grade B & B with everything of good quality from the towels and bed linen to the shampoo and body wash (which were good brands rather than the usual wholesale miniatures). Close... More

What a great place. Lots of people just pass through after getting off the ferry but we decided to stay for two nights and relax/explore a bit. The Glengary B&B is a very good place to stay. A short walk from the town centre. Free parking on the drive way. Nice bedrooms with en-suites. A communal lounge for the guests... More

Glengary is a superb bed-and-breakfast located a short walk from the centre of Picton. Our bed-room had a lovely view over the harbour. The bedroom itself was spacious and spotlessly clean with en-suite facilities. Breakfast was self-serve with plenty of home-made items to tempt the palate. Our hostess, Glynis, couldn't have been more helpful. The main purpose of our visit... More

Gary met us at the ferry terminal with a warm welcome and drove us to the Glengary B&B. The bedrooms were comfortable and there was also a guest lounge. Glenys served a substantial continental breakfast which included her homemade muesli, jams, and prepared pears and tamarillos. While we were off on a four day tramp on the Queen Charlotte Track,... We booked Glengary for the two nights at start and end of our walk on the Queen Charlotte Track. We drove in, left our bags and then returned our hire car as we were off to the North Island afterwards. It is not far to walk down to the town or the QC track water taxis, a bit farther to... More

We (a family of 4 from CA) stayed here for a night when returning from Marlborough Sounds. Gary and Gleniss were very warm, knowledgeable, and generous -- prepared a great continental breakfast. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, enjoyed a nice bottle of wine and snacks in the upstairs lounge. Easy walk to down and the Marina. We ate at... More

A recommendation from a friend. Very central Picton, just a very short walk from everything that the town has to offer (which if you include boats to the start of the Queen Charlotte Sound walk, wine trips etc is quite a lot). Glengary is a modern large spotlessly clean private house. We had a huge bedroom with ensuite. There is... More

We spent two nights at Glengary having crossed on the ferry from North Island. The B&B is a short walk from the ferry terminal but up a quiet road so not noisy. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming. As this was our first visit to New Zealand we needed a bit of advice as to what to see and... More
