We stayed in "Laneside" Cottage, which was very private and had a lovely (deciduous tree) filtered view across the bay and Akaroa township. Waking to the Bellbird dawn chorus was delightful. This cottage has had a makeover with contemporary wall colour and drapes. Unfortunately the carpet is stained by previous occupants. Being able to dim the lights would have contributed...
