Stopped off at the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle for 3 nights before our cruise around south Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand. Hotel was lovely just what we expected, we were shown to our deluxe room which was lovely but had a terrible view of the Car park. We immediately went to reception to ask for a room with a non car... While a regular visitor to Perth, this is the first time I've stayed at the Esplanade. The location is brilliant for tourists in particular as many restaurants, public transport and the sites of Fremantle and its harbour are all just a short walk away. The Hotel caters not only for tourists but wedding parties, conferences etc. In this trip I... More

Had a great 3 nights stay here, this hotel is in good spot for walks around Fremantle and the marina. Also in case you intend to visit Rottnest island, it's about 15mins walk to the jetty. Stayed in a studio room facing the pool - All modern appliances with separate office desk area and good size balcony. The walls seem... More

Massive hotel in a great location if you like history, food, coffee and a chilled out atmosphere. Only a short train ride to Perth city centre, this hotel has a heap on offer. The lagoon style pool was a great option, but then so was the other outdoor pool. Room was large and had a balcony. Buffet dinner and breakfast... More

Stayed 2 nights in a deluxe spa suite weekend away from the kids, great location and service. didnt have breakfast at the hotel, but it looked great, spent most of the time exploring fremantle, which has a load of things to do, great micro brewery across the park and cheapish fish n chips on the harbour, i had a great... Stayed Nov last year, 4th floor, towards the back of the Hotel where its quieter. Had a balcony room overlooking the pool. Quite happy with the room, and bathroom was good. Staff at the Hotel were friendly and helpful, especially when I was booking, and asking which rooms were quietest. We had breakfast one morning, which we paid for, expensive,... More

Stayed here with hubby and son 6th of May for a night. The location is great, which is ofcourse the selling factor for this hotel. The hotel's also old but it's part of the charm I guess. Service was great, and they looked like they were enjoying their jobs. We had dinner at Atrium buffet and it was really good,... More

Was generally pleasing you enjoyed the location and the hotel, it would seem housekeeping require some review on attention to detail and will address this with the manager to provide yoru feedback to the team so they are reminded of the repercussions if they cut corners when cleaning rooms. We are working on the hotels appearance and although historic does... More

I am really torn between giving this a bad or good review, so here is the all encompassing view. I arrived late from a flight into Perth. The hotel room was large, as far as room sizes go. It was very basic, and I mean very basic and dated, the tiles in the bathroom looked like they were 1970's and... More

Appreciate the frank review of the hotel and the items raised which have been noted on inspections prior to take over in January to fix as we progress. As you would appreicate with a hotel of this age and the period it was run as a stand alone property, there were many areas that will require improvement and are being... More

Stayed here as part of a huge group in May. Checked into room 251 which contained a king sized bed and a great (and very private) balcony and opening windows (aircon as well of course). Bed was incredibly comfortable and after 7 days camping and driving across the outback, it was wonderful to find the shower was hot and high... More

My husband was on a week long business trip and my son and I went along also. The hotel is in a great location and is within walking distance to everything. For families there is a great park just across the road for the kids. I found the rooms quite small, although you can get larger suites if they are... More
