Welcome was friendly and staff were helpful with external arrangements. Room was basic but clean. Decor was dated. Smell from drain in bathroom. Nice place for the real no-nonsense people, but for everyone else this town and place can be quite boring. Good starting point for hiking, but choose another town for evey other reason for your stay. Staff was friendly. Breakfast expensive and prepare yourself for lots of wooden decorations and dead animals on the walls. More

This is featured in Lonely Planet as an 'unpretentious' guest house. Fair enough, the terrace has great views of the Julian Alps and the food is good in the restaurant. Don't stay the night though, as the en suite bathroom smelt dodgy and the breakfast was a bit cardboardy. More
