It's located near old town but a little off the beaten track. It's offer very spacous dormitory but there are also private room. If you are off season maybe you will be lucky and you will only guest of dormitory. You can prepare here food by yourself, because you can use shared kitchen.

Life is too short to stay here. I fixed the toilet seat and cleaned the bathroom myself. The staff have their own issues and wish you didn't come to stay. The attic is a bit of a fire trap. Hostel Old Town Alur has very convenient location within the old city walls. The room was OK. The port can be reached by 15 min walk, the main attractions are within 5 min radius. Couple hundred meters form bus stop from the airport.
