Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Everything was okay, but checking out, we wouldn't be allowed to use the automatic coffee machine and we were charged 5 euros for a double espresso. I mean, being guests, it's not polite at all. We weren't coming from the street as non hotel users. Also, the most expensive coffee ever.

The hotel staff is really nice and the breakfast was good. The only problem is that is a bit far from the bus station/train station, but if you like walks this won't be a problem. The only drawback was the bathroom that had a slow draining but apart from that everything was great.

When arrived the hotel was easy to find and there were sufficient parking for the guest, the staff in the reception was friendly and fast as keys was prepared, the rooms was end of season so cold and heating didn’t work, even when informing the reception for several days they still didn’t manage to make the room warm and bathroom had cold water until the kettle was plugged in and started to heat. The Windows are not tight so always cold and fresh air gave a good draft so luckily there was several blankets so didn’t have to freeze at night. Breakfast was ok the omelet quiet nice but in a place like this no fresh bread or buns and only a small domestic toaster for the all the guests.

We were in the restaurant portion of the hotel & finally retreated to the bar. First day of school & the restaurant was full of unhappy parents & children. Three young female wait staff were overwhelmed & took it out on other customers ie: us. Arrived by cruise ship & wanted to soak up the local atmosphere after visiting the town center & before re-boarding the ship. The blame lies with management on this one. Not a good way to grow one’s tourist business.

Room was OK with a great view but nothing special apart from that. Service at reception was pretty ordinary - quite off-hand and not particularly helpful re assisting with the (lack of) wi-fi (which was mean to to exist). Breakfast was pretty disappointing also - ordinary food and cheerless despite it looking out on the water - what about going to some effort and putting on some nice lighting when it is a dull day, and maybe some soft music? The hotel is in a great location right on the water and not too far a walk from the old town but the staff need a kick in the pants.

It is a lovely place with great location and great views, excellent service, but breakfast ... is just horrible. It is not only with very very limited choice and very low quality food, but also presented in a very unappealing. What a pity, otherwise the hotel would be just WOW!

If you coming in via cruise visiting the Klaipeda old town, you will definitely pass this building because is not far from the cruise terminal. This is typical of Fachwerk architecture. A beautiful building which has been converted into a hotel.

Apart of location everything else is substandard and even below. Teribble hot room thatwasn't being cooled bythe noisy and aging airconditioner, dirty windows covered by spider webs, cramped bathroom with an incredibbly tiny sink. Poor breakfast and chocking smell of cheap detergent on the tables

A decent hotel with all the prime necessities. Good location - walk everywhere. Plain breakfast - nothing extra. Room size all right for two people. Good wardrobe space! Nice big bed. There is a desk and also a table and two chairs - nice. Bathroom all right, sink is very small. TV remote was not working at all. Decent lunch and very affordable prices. In general - nice stay! Recommend.
