How can you stay in a city at the Danube and not want to sleep actually ON the river, listening to the flipping of the waves? Well, we (the middle aged Finnish couple, racing around Europe) did it for 5 nights.... Bratislava is a gem hidden between Prague, Vienna and Budapest. Smaller than any of those, with perhaps less of... More

The Botel Gracia is in a great location, and is much more affordable than other hotels nearby. The staff was nice and spoke decent English. The breakfast was pretty good. The rooms and beds are really small, and you are actually on a boat in the river. The boat doesn't move, but if youre on the bottom floor you can... More

This hotel is situated on the Danube and is 5 min walk to the old town area, the accomodation is what you expect for 60 euros for 2 nights including breakfast when sharing a room. We were there to have a few beers and do a bit of sight seeing and this hotal matched are needs exactly, it is definately... More

7 of us stayed in the Botel Gracia for my stag do organised through an internet stag do company. When we first arrived at the hotel we all thought 'oh dear, but you get what you pay for' and I think that is the key here. The hotel was clean, my room was very spacious and I had a good... More

A good experience staying actually on the Danube, but still really close to the old town and main sights. Arriving on the hydrofoil from Budapest it was really accessible - just a short walk along the river. The room was bigger than I expected though the bathroom was a bit small and the air conditioning didn't work. A bit of... More

A smashing time had by all, the hotel (Botel) offers all the amenities you could so desire, clean spacious rooms, shower and mini bar, stocked with possibly the strongest proof beer I've ever sampled, an upper deck dedicated to offering an extensive restaurant and bar with delightful views both up and down the Danube, and a first rate entertainer was... Just got back from staying in Botel Gracia on a stag weekend. Location for bars and the old town is ideal only 5 mins walk even Tesco's isn't too far for essentials (water, Frazzles, cheesy poofs, paracetamol etc). As for the Botel itself, it is very dated and low end. Cabins are OK but the beds and bathroom are small... More

It seemed to us a very good idea to book this hotel which is in fact a boat on the Danube. It happened to be a really bad idea. Rooms are cabins' boat, so they're really tiny. Our experience was really bad for various reasons : TV didn't work at all, radio neither, furniture are really old (it's obvious that... More

In response to the review listed above, Botel Gracia management would like to provide it's customers with up to date information. First of all there has been change in our facility's ownership. New owner invested enough money to completely renovate whole hotel before upcoming year 2012. This means new walls, new beds, furniture, carpets, curtains, bathrooms etc. From reception through...
