Converted from former military barracks, this place was different. Next to the Expo center, it’s not anywhere near the main areas where you would want to go (except a conference), but it is cheap for Bratislava, comfy rooms, HUGE breakfast, fast internet and a really, really nice restaurant/bar for dinner. On the road to Wien, great if you can go to Wien and staying in cheaper Bratislava. Good restaurant, but staff can smiling more. Cheapest rooms looks poor (it can be because white walls and just minimum furniture are here). Good price. .

My family and me visited penzion berg last week.Location is not so good,but one room is nice ,clean and new bathroom in the room (no.23).Another room (no.21) is smelly and old.Staff is kind,but no smile ever!!!

This hotel is quite nice and our room was lovely. I do think though that some of the rooms are more basic. The staff was quite nice and helpful especially considering how staff elsewhere in Bratislava was not. There is a lovely restaurant at the hotel and a small supermarket where I got some excellent food for sandwiches, and snacks....

Good value for money. Simple rooms very clean and quiet enough. Hotel staff at reception was very helpful. Free internet access (computer in hotel hall), free parking. I would recommend it to anyone.
