Good hotel to find if you're travelling by car, it's tall, it has it's name on top and is easily accessible from the main roads. It has it's own car park with an attendant. The Hotel Lux looks like a communist era building, with little landscaping and few amenities in Banska Bystrica (BB). It is an easy 500 m walk from the bus station, if you arrive in BB by bus. As with other central europe locations, it does not have air conditioning. Check in was pleasant and fast, the clerks spoke excellent English.... More
