The hotel was very good about answering my questions via email before I arrived. They didn't need a credit card to secure the reservation which I thought was nice but unusual. Hotel Arkadia is in a good location right near the mosque. Breakfast of yogurt, toast, coffee, cheese, meats and eggs were provided. One day they had what looked like... More

Although the town has plenty of good-looking older buildings, the hotel is almost aggressively modern. The location is very convenient for the sights, although it is a bit of a trek from the train and bus stations. The hotel staff speak enough English. The beds are comfortable, and the bedroom is dark and quiet. I especially appreciated the heated towel... More

Great spot, just a stones throw away from the central mosque. The hotel is new so every thing is quite modern. Small bathrooms though (when you sit on the toilet, your feet are in the shower.) My only issue was that you could not pick up wifi in the rooms (but you can use a cable if you have a... More

We started our weeks stay in Hungary with three nights at the Hotel Arkadia in Pecs. Our experience was just perfect! We stayed in the older part of the hotel and the room was large (with a high ceiling), quiet, and very up to date. The breakfast each morning was the best we had during our trip and included hot... We stayed at the Arkadia for 4 nights in September and we were very pleased with this hotel. The room was comfortable and very clean. The bathroom has the most interesting feature of the room, your feet are basically in the shower as you use the bathroom, but while it's a bit weird, it can be pretty funny too. The... More

We were impressed having arrived at the hotel Arkadia. We were not expecting a modern newer hotel. The hotel choices are limited in Pecs.We were not disappointed here.English was spoken,They were helpful with a map and awnsered our questions very well. The room was very quiet.Only thing was the shower was part of the bathroom floor so whole floor was wet. Comfortable bed... More

Hi, I actually was the one who submitted the original listing for this hotel earlier this year, but unfortunately, never submitted the listing. Have stayed in the Palitinus, which casts more with much older rooms and a less comfortable stay. Found this hotel across from another I had stayed in years before. Pricewise, it is very fair with prices running... More

We stayed two nights in this lovely and wonderfully located hotel, (just below Museum Street and just above the main square), in one of the most charming small cities in Eastern Europe. We had moved from the less-well-located Millennium (which was in the middle of renovations) and, having rejected the dreary and dirty Hotels Palatinus and Aranyhajo Fogado, were thrilled... More

Stayed for 2 nights with my wife and two small (4 and 6 years old) children. The room was clear and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was ok, but nothing special. We enjoyed our stay, the hotel has a very good location, it is in the middle of the city centre. There is parking possibility in the yard, which... More
