4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 May 2013 NEW

For a tourist, location is excellent. 3 mins from the main river, next to Marriott, and within short (1-2 mins) walking distance to a shopping area filled with restaurants, bars and shops. Good base to explore the city from. Hotel itself is a very solid 4 star. Good service, rooms are sufficient, overall, nothing that i can really complain about.... More

Hotel was excellent, rooms clean, modern and spacious. Only that the sinks in the rooms were too modern as there were no plug holes just a slit at the back to let the water drain away (and contact lenses)! Reception helpful with any queries we had, booked us a couple of excursions too. Fabulous location of the hotel in respect... More

There's little reason to make this a lengthy review. Everything is excellent - rooms are spacious, clean and attention paid to detail; staff are attentive, friendly and highly professional; location is perfect in the heart of Budapest (though fair warning should be given to the view, which is limited due to another building, still don't let that put you off);... Our New Year's cruise on the Danube began in cold and blustery Budapest. However, our greeting received at the Zenit Budapest Palace was warm and welcoming, as was our entire two night stay. After very long and delayed flights from California and enduring lost luggage on arrival, the hotel staff was sensitive and very accommodating to our plight. To "ease... More

Extreme advantage - location. Right in the city center, close to Danube river. Rooms are quite small, but large enough to fit in a baby cot. Clean and calm with good service level. It is a modern, perfect hotel. Excellent, minimalistic design. Vaci utca (main turistic street) is 5 minutes from hotel. Budapest castle is in front of the hotel, on opposite side of Danube river. Parlament is 10 minutes from hotel. All turistic attraction are just 15 minutes by walk from hotel.
