I was recommended this hotel by a friend from Hungary. I am glad I booked this hotel. Promenade City offers a great location in the middle of Vaci city. It takes some minutes to the metro, you can walk the whole vaci street and you will find everything you want: pubs, restaurants, boutiques, cofees, souvenirs, etc. Since I traveled alone,... More

I found this hotel shortly before coming to Budapest for a long weekend. We booked a twin room for thursday and Friday knowing that we might extend the stay but unfortunately by the time we got here the hotel was fully booked for Saturday night. We would definitely have stayed here longer if we could have done so. The twin... More

The hallways are a little tight but once you get settled it is the perfect launching point for seeing all of Budapest. Everything was walking distance. I have to chime in on the breakfast situation. While the food was good, the tables were sparse and unless you hve loads of patience, you will end up sitting with some new friends... More

A very narrow entrance hall should have been the first clue that the hotel was built IN the courtyard of the original building. To compensate for the absence of an external wall, most rooms have operable windows facing into an internal, 7-level 'light shaft'. The lift is at one end of the open space and every sound from it is... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in December and I have zero complaints. Excellent locations and short walk to many of Budapests attractions. for a good meal check out Commez Chez Soi about two blocks from the hotel. Would def stay again and decent breakfast. More

Budapest is a lovely City and if you want to stay in an absolut central location - this is definately it! Promenade City Hotel is relatively small and so is the breakfast room, be preparred to wait a while for a tables. But that is the only downside to this hotel, otherwise it met all our needs when it comes... More

Tea/coffee making facility in room ashould be a standard in hotel such as this one (this hotel lacked it). Breakfast quality was average. Breakfast service and staff friendlessness lacking and below average. More

The hotel is small but very clean and very good location, right close to the shopping district. The room is clean and all newly furnished, the only thing they don't have is boiler, so do prepare to bring your own drinking water. The aircon was not really cold in the room so felt very stuffy at night, but in general... More

Hotel very central, in a busy pedestrian street near the Danube, with easy access to all transport. Large modern room, and bathroom with a bath and shower, which was surprisingly quiet at night as it overlooked an inner courtyard. Buffet breakfast with a wide variety of hot and cold food, served in a bright, airy room on the 6th floor.... More
