One night in Balatonalmadi, and why not in the largest hotel of the town? At least this way you do not have to look at the rather unendearing building... Very reasonable rate in the offseason. I was expected by name when I arrived at 7pm. Standard room, nothing fancy, nice view over the lake. Breakfast buffet obviously contained leftovers from... More

Hotels offer big deals in winter and Hungary is not an exception. I have spent 4 nights in Ramada Hotel in Balatonalmadi (Hungary) just a week ago. Although winter is not the main tourist season, there were numerous guests in the hotel. The reason: a very attractive winter package offered by Ramada. The hotel has good location, just 100 m... Stayed here for 4 nights 13th -17th Sept requested higher level room which we got and the views are great looking over the lake . We were on the 12th floor , room usual size for Ramada group with mini bar , hairdrier , good size with desk , table and chairs etc . Room was clean but we would... More

Stayed there for 4 nights in a regular room. The room size was ok and the bathroom as well with enough room to place your utensils. Cleanliness is an issue as there are stains all over the place from stains on the carpet to insect splotches on the wall. I found every day hairs on the bathroom floor. Service in... More

The double room was nice but small with two separate beds (that you can push together). I found the bed too soft and the duvet too thin.. Bathroom was nice and clean. The breakfast was very good although during the second breakfast the coffee machine did not work. Hot water for tea was not available either. Alarm went on twice... More

We stayed here for one long-weekeind with my partner. As I was pregnant I couldn't really enjoy the wellness facilities, however it was cool. The food was OK, but the drinks were not included and were very expensive. As it was almost winter the location wasn't so important, but this hotel can be a very good choice during summertime as... I have been in this hotel in the beginning of July, and generally I liked it, but I think it does not deserve the 4 stars. The hotel is quit near to Balaton, you can get there in 5 minutes. The hotel has its own beach, which is ok, if you are a guest you will get a free deck... More

The usual 4-star conference and wellness hotel, clean rooms, a small pool (25 m) and sauna, polite staff. The plus is the view from the rooms to the Lake Balaton, which is beautiful; and the breakfast, with an unusually wide choice of... everything you can possibly think of to have for breakfast, really. The restaurant of the hotel is also... More

Myself and my husband stayed here in August. We first spent 3 nights in beautiful Budapest before taking a direct train from Budapest Deli station to travel to Balatonalmadi train station - about a 2 hour journey. We paid around 7 euro each way for a 1st class ticket and while its not compared to 1st class back home, it... More
