My experience is that you can hardly find a better option for a proper stay in the most central location in Ljubljana. In fact, I am quite sure you can not find a better option than Slon/Elephant Hotel. Quite a reasonable price for this level of service. You will be surprised by a lavish breakfast offer. Will go again.

Staff was very friendly. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The hotel is located in the centre of town which made it handy for sightseeing and dining. Very convenient if you would like to walk around!

This is an old hotel which has been well renovated. But they need new lifts! They are slow and stop when called, irrespective of going up or down. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet is outstanding for a hotel in this price bracket. Large rooms but small bathrooms

Pros: Right at the heart of the city. Next to the pedestrian center Very nice breakfast Large rooms Great value overall Cons: Nothing bad really. Looks a bit old and not maintained on occasions but nothing serious... Definitely recommended for business in Ljubljana and for leisure as well.
