Very good hotel just 200m from the Main Square of Torun and from the House of Copernicus. Clean, super-friendly staff (survived our group coming for a stag party), fabulous breakfast. Don't know what else you could want for a great city break!

6th visit to Torun. Stayed in room 212 which overlooked street. Can get very noisy as there are three drinking places across the road. Really good situation for getting into the old town. Breakfast not as good as other places I have stayed with only scrambled egg and frankfurters as the hot choice everyday but hot and scrummy with cold... More

Right in the centre of the old town, staff are pleasant, breakfast fine, rooms are basic but the shower worked even if the soap reminded me of 1970's public lavatories in the UK and the window to the room did not shut properly. The bed was comfortable enough. What more do you want?!

Gromada Hotel in Torun is located in the heart of the old town, just a few steps from the main market square. Room was fine, clean but very hot. Breakfasts are OK. There is no parking. Good value for money.

This is a small antiquated hotel with a good location and price. The interior is still reminiscent of the Soviet communist period, and the services provided broadly match, so this might be a good place for those who like this type of old memorabilia. Hotel Gromada is perfectly located, just in the heart of Torun's Old Town. Rooms aren't huge but very comfortable, bathrooms spotlessly clean. Access to internet is offered free of charge so if you have your own laptop, just ask for a cable at the reception. Can't tell anything about restaurant and service because we ate out.
