I stayed a couple of days in this hotel and found it a great experience. The atmosphere in the lobby and stairs is just amazing. The rooms are nice.
Breakfast is served in an amazing room. Location is not exactly in the center but it's very convenient and with a lot of restaurants nearby.
I will definitely come back when...

I stayed at the Alef for 2 weeks in June 2011. The room is full of character with interesting art, and antique furniture in the public areas and the rooms. It has a lovely little patio garden where you can have a beer, coffee or just read your book. I stayed in one of the deluxe or suite rooms -...

Only stayed here for a couple of nights, but had a great weekend. The halls and rooms really are amazingly decorated, very interesting pictures and objects around the Hotel. The hotel Alef is in a good location, probably a 10 minute walk to the main square. The staff are always keen to help with any problems, needed a little help...

The hotel 'Alef' is, in my opinion, and average hotel. Unfortunately, my experience wasn't the best because of some... injuries (as in getting slashed by the bed because the mattress moved over at night.) Alef was located in a nice spot, not to far from the town swuare, where most of the attractions are, and close to the Wisla river,...

Very nice hotel with friendly staff, about a 10 minute walk to the square and 5 minutes to the Jewish quarter kazimierz. Breakfast was ok, cold meat and cheese, with fruit juice, tea and coffee. Good value for money.

Had an excellent stay at Hotel Alef, on sw. Agnieszka. I stayed in a triple room (5th floor, room 502, can be viewed on their interactive map on website) with my daughters aged 11 and 16. The staff spoke good English and were very friendly towards the children. The breakfast was fabulous, a buffet offering cereals, a selection of polish...

Rate was great, location was great ( walking distance to everything) , lobby was attractive, staff was FABULOUS, the breakfast not very good and the rooms were drab. The green carpet was stained and the beds and bedding need updating. The room was quite cramped too. It was ok, but from the lobby I thought the rooms would be a...

Please note that most other reviews are out of date in terms of location as the hotel is now in Agnieski Street. This is a most convenient place as it is lies between the castle and old town area and the Jewish Quarter. It is a 5 minute walk into the main square. We stayed there for 4 nights in...

Having heard friends’ experiences of staying in anonymous concrete blocks of hotels on the wrong side of the Vistula we determined to stay somewhere ‘different’. And different is what you get at hotel Alef, certainly at the 17 Szeroka location where a few rooms are available above the charming restaurant. Service had a personal touch, because outside of restaurant hours...
