Everything about this hostel was amazing, especially loved the location - 5 minutes walk away from gorgeous views of the whole of Prague but the city centre can also be reached in about 10 minutes. Me and my friend got a taxi from the main train station when we arrived in prague which was about 10 minutes and cost 500... More

I traveled with a group of 38 college (17-19) year olds in March '13 and we stayed at the Arpacay. It was perfect. Great location, short walk to the Charles Bridge, just a little further to the Astronomical Tower. Very easy to get to the airport from using public transit. It was absolutely solid: clean, friendly, helpful staff...in short it... More

At first I found the staff unwelcoming, but as my stay extended they became warm. This hostel is beautifully built, an old Czech building with a modern interior. For those who don't like walking, it is situated at the very top of a hill (street) right next to the castle. You do need a bit of energy, to get up... More

Staying with 10 other friends the hostel staff were very accommodating by providing us our own 12 person room by moving others around so we had one extra bed. Our room was large and furnished with chairs to hang out before going out for the evening. The room and bathroom was clean and their was always someone at the desk... More

Along with 4 of my friends, I spent four nights inside the 8-Bed-Mixed-Dorm at the Arpacay. The Hostel has reloacated to its current location in the summer of 2012, and is located very close to Pragues Castle, thus very good for sightseeing trips, at the cost of a steep walk and about 5 minutes walking distance to the next Tram... I stayed with a group of friends in November 2012. We had a triple room which came with 3 single beds. It had nice touches like bedside cabinets and little shelves next to the bed! The hostel was very tidy, and most of the staff were very helpful and informative. It's a great base for exploring- right near the castle.... More

Would highly recommend Aparcay hostel for several reasons. Spacious and well-kept rooms. Clean shower and toilet facilities. Relaxed and friendly ambience - good breakfast. Helpful staff and in a good location (despite the steep hill!). Couldn't have asked for more for 14 euro a night!

The hostel is located near the castle, which seems good at first. But you will soon realise if you go anywhere else in the city you will have to walk up castle hill every time to get back to your hostel. Public transport doesn’t seem very good here either, so if you don’t get a taxi you will probably end... More

There was this problem in two biggist rooms in high season when the rooms were full everyday. The picture of the restaurant outside sitting area... More
