Excellent location. Just off the Old Town but still very quiet at night. Room was clean and spacious (we had a junior suite). Lighting was a little dim in the bedroom but nice new bathroom. Probably say its a 3 star by UK standards, not a 4 star. The location moved it from an 'average' to a 'very good'.

We stayed in room 101 1st floor at the very front of this vast hotel. Very quiet, really clean, fantastic service, superb food, lovely room beautiful shower in the very stylish bathroom. Comfortable bed really good sleep.(Tiny ctiticism would have liked tea/coffee making facilites in the room). Truly would stay again as really great location.Thankyou.

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Marcello. It is a clean, basic hotel in a great location only a short walk from the Old Town Square. The staff were extremely helpful & friendly. My only feedback was that the bed was a little too hard & the pillows too thin & soft.

We expected higher quality at our apartment at the Casa Marcello. Nice bed, but a tired room. Awful sofa in tiny livingroom. Nice location, but can't recommend due to lack of standards compared to price. Think perhaps they thought their terrible service was a charming trait. It was not, it was simply terribly. So disappointing.

We stayed here three days. It is in a beautiful place at two minutes from the old town square. Not all the staff speaks English. The breakfast was rich for the continental. The shower wasn't working and we had to have only bath. The bed were uncomfortable But for that it was good.
