Where to start...difficult question as don`t want to make it look like an advert for this hotel... Well whatever! We were having our wedding reception at this hotel in April this year. We arrived quite late on our arrival day (11pm) even that guy from the reception came to tune our TV as was in Russian language and none of... More

I do not like city centres so the Castle Residence was exactly what was required. Close enough to visit everything without having the noise etc of being in the centre. The restaurant was good. Good breakfast - plenty of selection. Lovely coffee - lots of different kinds of breads. Staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful. They spoke very... More

The hotel was our base for trips into Prague over a long weekend. The service was excellent with lots of advice by the English speaking reception. The Castle Residence is quite a way from the city centre but the hotel runs a free shuttle to the nearest tram and metro stops which never failed us during our 4 daily visits to... Well, first of all, I don't want to say it's a bad hotel. It is OK, not bad, but much worse than I was expecting. I visited many many times Prague and stayed in beautiful hotels, in the center, in amazing old buildings with painted decorations in the ceiling, with super service, excellent food and so on. So I can... More

A lovely quiet location, reception staff and Konrad provide service like it should be. They have a great knowledge of the city and are more than happy to make sure you know exactly where you are going. Tram tickets are available (and cheap) at the desk. Buy tram tickets for your return as well. Better still - if you know... More

First impressions are always the best and this place didn't disappoint. The rooms are huge and very well presented. They are clean and fairly modern. Don't dump your bags and jump on the beds though. Something will break....and it won't be the bed! That said, we got a great nights sleep and felt very comforatable in what would better be... More

We took the "out of school" package which included: soft drinks from the minibar, 1 hour bowling, 4 hour bike hire, zoo tickets + picnic basket, tickets to a train museum. (We didn't use the bowling or the bike hire, so they gave us the money. And as we didn't give them time to make us a food basket, the... More

My husband and I took our 13year old grandson for a half term holiday break. The Castle residence were offering a package at that time which included tickets to the zoo, bicycle hire, ten pin bowling session and soft drinks from the fridge. Excellent value for money. The hotel was impressive, a lovely quiet location. Our bedrooms were intercommunicating, large... More

Stayed here at the end of April 2012 with a bunch of friends. The hotel is very nice, hidden in a big and shady courtyard. No problem getting to the hotel with the help of the GPS navigation. Not being in the center of the city turned out to be a big advantage, first of all because we had a... More
