We stayed for a long weekend in late January? The hotel is just the other side of the river from the city centre but it is well located for all of the tourist sites. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the room was very comfortable. The only minor issue is that the breakfast area is very small and... More

After a first night water felt down from the ceiling to the bed and eveythinh was wet rapidly. Manager told us that the problem was fixed but at midnight during the second night same problem appeared again and we had to move in another room. The breakfast room is small and some people have to wait at the door before... More

This hotel took my by surprise for its convenient location just a 5 minute stroll across the bridge to get to the restaurants and 10 minutes for the square. The rooms were so nicely decorated and quaint. Beautiful beds and decor. No tea and coffee making in room, just ring down anytime of day and they will bring to you,... More

It was a well furbished hotel. The staff were very helpful, especially with my phone and getting me linked to Wifi! They served the best coffee ever - wonderful way to wake up. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was very good indeed and a great reinforcement to start the day! More

The hotel is in a great location-easy to walk to all main areas and in the MaloStrana area which is less busy than the old town. There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby and an easy walk to castle, the parks, Charles and other bridges, the metro and trams. The staff were helpful and addressed a few issues promptly.The... More

The above rating is only given as the Manager relatively quickly organised a car to transfer us to a hotel that we had not booked, the excellent Hoffmeister. The Royal Palace may be good if you get as far as a room. We booked a deal in November for a 3 night stay in March. On arrival at 11am we were... More

We stayed for 4 nights in March. We upgraded our room (for a nominal fee) and had a wonderful room, quiet, spacious & comfortable on the top floor overlooking the Palace. Couldn't have asked for better. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was beyond description!! Wish I had it in my house. High quality fittings and heaps of space... More

Booked this hotel in November 2011 for 2 nights in March 2012. Got there & was told there had been a water problem in our room (I suspect it was merely over-booked) but that they had booked us into another 5 star hotel (Hoffmeister) and they would pay for a taxi to take us there. From what I have read... More

In November 2011 we booked 2 rooms for March 22nd 2012 we booked this with Travel Zoo who apparently use Clear Sky to do the bookings. Our party of 4 arrived at the hotel and there were 6 French tourists booking in, no problem they were taken to their rooms, When we showed the receptionist our paperwork we were immediately... More

We really enjoyed our stay in the Royal Palace hotel. Our stay was split so we stayed in two rooms - the first had an amazing deep bath, and the second a gread waterfall shower. The first overlooked the Royal Palace (5th Floor) whilst the second overlooked the Park at the back (and a bit of the neighbouring building). The... More
