This time we stayed rather than just eating the sunday lunch, The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were good and clean and comfortable, breakfast good as well. We intend returning whenever we are in the area (one warning, steep stairs to the rooms)

Sorry to hear Vince left, but I wish the new owners well. It used to be a good pub with vince and the beer was enjoyable but did have two pints that tasted off, but that said overall it was a enjoyable pint. The food was excellant and always hot. The sunday lunches were very popular and the overall pub... More

My mother and I were staying very close to Fakenham town centre and, as there was not a great choice of restaurants in the town itself, we ventured out each night for our evening meal. We went to The White Horse Inn twice to eat (unusual for us to do that as we like to try different places so it... More

Good welcome. Good evening meals - seven of us in all as family were staying close by and joined us. Excellent cooked breakfast. But the bed. Must disagree with an earlier post. In room 2 you could trace the outline of the springs by just resting your hand on the bed. We slept well but on, rather than under, the... More

Although I didnt stay at the Inn, I found the welcome late in the evening very warm. I had given up eating in the hotel where I was staying and was now extremely fed up!! The bar wasn't that busy due to the snowy weather but they were catering for a large group upstairs, although they offically finished serving they... More

The White Horse is hidden away on the fringe of the isolated hamlet of Barsham. We were welcomed by the landlord Vince as soon as we arrived, who opened up early to accommodate us. The building itself is a fantastic old inn with the expected sloping floors and exposed beams. Our evening meal was excellent pub fare, and Vince was... More

17th century Inn. We arrived on a Friday in time to order a delicious lunch. The welcome was extremely warm and friendly. The rooms we had (Nos.1 and 2) were comfortable, particularly the beds. The full english breakfast was superb and cooked just to our liking by the Landlady. We had booked an evening meal for six on the Saturday... More
