Apparently accommodation in summer in Finmark is very expensive and in high demand. We were considering trying to change hotel and asked for advice at another hotel. The hotel is expensive and poorly outfitted. The staff were obliging but give preference to bus tours. Breakfast only reasonable service. Rooms dated and small. Staying there is more a penance than pleasure. Close to Northkapp, the only reason to stay there and for one night only!!

This hotel is terrible for business. Only a few of the rooms have access to WiFi internet. We live in 2012, and this hotel looks like it is still mid-1970s for both interior and technology. The hotel and the room had the charm of a prison cell. And even for this I had to pay 160€ per night in low season ... The only excuse I could find is the fact that it is situated at the very northern end of European civilization ... The service was ok ... as my small room was cold... More

The only reason to stay at the hotel is because of the close location to Northcape. The public rooms are recently renovated, but the rooms are extremely small and they look like nothing has been done with them since they were new. The breakfast is excellent. But the rooms are extremely expensive, - even compared with Norwegian hotel rooms.

Confortable hotel in Honningsvag, near by the port. Rooms in norweagian style, cleans, in wood, warm. The breakfast is rich and tasty. When visiting the Nord Cape, this is a good base to stay.
